The shelter becomes a picture of what this book explores:
God is not just calling you.
He is making His home in you.
What is the shelter?
At first glance, it may look like a shelter—a place of refuge, covering, and rest.
But it represents something deeper.
It is the dwelling place God is forming within us.
The shelter is intentionally imperfect. Its cracked exterior represents the places in our lives that must open through surrender—not because brokenness is the destination, but because what is surrendered can become an opening through which His Presence is revealed.
Within the shelter is an illuminated doorway.
The doorway represents access.
It speaks of the invitation to open what has been closed, to allow God into the places we have protected, hidden, or thought were too broken.
And the light?
His Presence.
The image is therefore not simply about a structure being repaired. It is about a life being transformed:
Broken → Surrendered → Opened → Indwelt
